October 12th marked the 10 year anniversary of the hip thrust. I filmed this video to showcase how the hip thrust came to be. I think many of you will find the video to be quite interesting. I explain how and why I first thought it up and then take you through the various apparatuses I’ve used over the years, from Skorcher to the standard bench to the Hip Thruster.

My client Sohee made the following video for me which I watched on October 12 – it made my entire week. Over 50 of my clients and colleagues chimed in to congratulate me and cheer me on.

Really interesting to see the development processes. I’ve been personally following you for about 3/4 years and more seriously since I became a personal trainer based in London during the last couple of years. This exercise has been fundamental in both my clients and my own training. The second video is pretty much a who’s who of the respected fitness industry of the world. I wish you all the best and look forward to the next decade!

I’ve been following your work for years now, Bret. You were the one who introduced me to the hip thrust years back and now I’m an evangelist myself! Keep up the good work.
