Dear Bret I had a bit of an “odd” question. It’s about glute potential. I was wondering, because not all women are genetically predisposed to be able to develop amazing glutes. If a woman/man has a larger “butt” or more accumulation of fat cells on their rear before training, do they have more potential to developing an “ass” or a more perky pronounced developed rear?

An interesting study would be to look at the influence of toe angle and the influence of hip external rotation on glute activity in squat, hip thrust, deadlift, etc

Great work on the review service, by the way

    Hi Bret,

I saw your new programs on T-Nation and wanting to try the hipthrust challenge, I was wondering what exercise can be perfomed instead of a standing band hipthrust? The problem is there ain’t anything I can attach the bands to on the squat rack.

I forgot to mention that I can’t wait to try the program, I have never done a kneeling squat but I’m alaways open to new exercises that claim to help the glutes grow:)

How do you perform the feet elevated glute bridge, with a barbell or just bodywjeight?
