Depends what you’re measuring. Muscle activity of a particular muscle? Joint torque? Energy expenditure? Power?
If you’re wondering about glute activation, hip thrusts elicit higher means and peaks, even when using heavier kettlebells (which elicit higher mean and peak activation compared to lighter kettlebells).
Bret does would your 2×4 program be optimal for someone using Olympic style squatting instead of powerlift type of squats or would it require big changes?
How do kettle bell swings compare to hip thrusts?

No changes necessary at all Sergio. I’ve been doing Oly full squats – works perfectly with the system.
Hello Bret,
some time ago I recommended Bodyweight Strength Training Anatomy to Czech publisher and here it is:-) I saw it in the major bookstore today.

I have a question not related to this topic.
Do you know or heard about Puma from MNBBC.com?
